In it’s 7th run, Bassgasm proves that it is one dance-a-thon that can’t be beat. Bassgasm 7 features prominent DJs from all around the country, exploring dubstep, techno, hip hop + nearly every other genre, this five stage, 9 hour, club-wide “rave” has sounds for sounds for nearly everyone. I attended Bassgasm last year, and the crowd itself was worth showing up. Plus, who doesn’t love a good dance party? Friday, September 21 – First Avenue – $15/$20 – 5pm doors

News You Don’t Care About: Kreayshawn Releases an Album
That’s right, the rapper of the viral sensation, “Gucci Gucci,” has released an album, and almost no one cares. If you do care, the name of her album is creatively titled “Somethin Bout Kreay,” but again, I doubt you care. In her defense, she is doing a tour with a bunch of other small names and will be making a stop in Minneapolis this fall (I failed to look up the date because I also don’t care), but it seems that the fad has indeed worn off.
